Industrial Designer

Job Function:
Product Design, sketching, 3 D design

Specific Skills:
• A passion for design
• A strong understanding of design principles and a developed aesthetic sense.
• Excellent creative problem solving
• Able to work in a team atmosphere
• Must be able to multi task
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, injection molding, blow molding, injection blow molding
• Strong conceptual sketching ability
• Proficient in Solidworks, surfacing skills required
• Knowledge in Rapid protyping a plus (Dimension 3D printer)
• Proficient in Sketchbook Pro/Cintiq
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• BA or equivalent work experience in the design field

Cad Engineer

Position entails taking concept sketches and creating 3D geometry within technical constraints such as volumization, wall thicknesses, parting lines, fabrication methodology, etc.
Preparing 2D/3D files for modeling
Developing component drawings, assembly drawings, or schematics
Working with others to develop suitable output for the project

Requirementes:
• 4 year degree in technical discipline, ideally engineering based
• Minimum of 5 years Solidworks experience with both parametric and freeform modeling
• Experience in producing engineering drawings
• Ability to deal with multiple parts in assembles for working models
• Ability to work on multiple projects under tight time constraints
• Great work ethic, punctuality and timekeeping
• Ability to efficiently use multiple software concurrently
• Strong self driven and disciplined approach to problem solving
• Familiarity with model making processes
• Design aesthetic and awareness, ability to communicate through design

We will consider freelancers to work in house on a contract basis. As of now this is a temporary position that cold turn into full time opportunity.
(This is NOT a design job)
Hours of operation are: Monday to Friday 8:30am through 5pm.
Compensation is hourly, pay is greatly dependent on experience level

Domestic Operations Associate

Job Functions:

• Manage and process domestic orders for retail customers and distributors.
• Prepare quotes and provide spec information: dimensions, weight, cbms.
• Enter sales orders into Quickbooks.
• Communicate with warehouse to ensure proper shipping meeting customer deadlines.

Experience/Skills required:

• 1-2 years experience sales order processing and/or import logistics.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
• Above average computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Products.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and EDI systems a plus

Retail Business Analyst

Cool Gear International is expanding its Walmart operations department. This position is NOT a management-level position. This is an administrative position.

Job Functions:

Run Retail Link reports, analyze the results, make recommendations for change.
Make weekly presentations to management outlining product performance (POS).
Identify potential out-of-stocks and make recommendations.

Experience/Skills required:

• 1-2 years experience Retail Link experience.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and meet short deadlines.
• Above average computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and other Microsoft Office Products.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and EDI systems a plus
